Pebcrow is an AI-mediated platform. By using the Services, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• •All User Content may be sent to third-party AI service providers (e.g., large language model providers) for processing, analysis, moderation, and transformation
• •AI-processed versions of your content may differ substantially from the original submission and may be publicly displayed on the platform
• •We may use your content to improve our AI systems and processes
• •Personal identifying information is stripped from entries before public display, but original submissions are retained in our systems for platform operation

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Pebcrow does not directly store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. Payment information is handled in accordance with Stripe's privacy policy and security standards. We receive and store transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing metadata necessary to manage your subscription.

You have the following rights regarding your information:

Please note that deletion of your account does not necessarily result in deletion of all content you have submitted. Published entries and AI-processed content may persist on the platform even after account deletion, as described in our Terms of Service.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access to your data resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may retain certain information after account closure as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for legitimate business purposes. Published and AI-processed content may be retained indefinitely as part of the platform's public record.

The Services are intended for users aged 18 and older and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@pebcrow.com so we can delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform with an updated effective date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
